It was founded during Shenglong of the Tang Dynasty (705) magnificently. In Song Dynasty(1104), the leader of peasantry Wang Shiqi made it as the headquarter to resist Jin Dynasty. It bloomed during Ming Dynasty and became one of the most famous Taoist temples in Jiangxi and Hunan provinces.
